Hello, my name is Dragan Lazin and I live in the Metro-Detroit area.  I am 33 years-old and work for Wayne State University as a Systems Administrator.  I’m in-progress of finishing a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science which I started a long time ago…to long for me to mention  I hail from Romania and my ethnic heritage is Serbian, Romanian and Roma.  My name is Serbian (you know…the guys whom the Clinton administration fervently bombed in the 90s; the same guys who mistreated their federal neighbors.)  If you’re Romanian and reading this you might ask yourself “why is he admiting he is of Roma descent?!”   For my American readers – the Roma people are commonly reffered to as the Gypsies, and back home admiting to this bloodline usually brings repulsion.  Well so I’m part Roma…and the problem is?!  I have no problem admiting neither am I shamed by this.  And for the racist Romanians reading this:  watch your wallets hahaha

I came to the United States in 1992 and finished 1/2 of 11th grade and 12th grade.  I am from a city in Romania called Timisoara where I attended school in Serbo-Croatian.

I got married on August 15, 2009 to my beautiful wife, Ligia.
